TAG (abbreviation of a Persian name) is a Speech generator device which falls under the category of Augmentative and Alternative Communication high tech tools. This device includes a plastic case, a touch screen, CPU, main board, power board, sound control board, rechargeable batteries, two speakers and a proprietary software written in Python programming language. In this software the content is based on Persian Language and Iranian culture. User can select any word and makes a sentence and then after pressing the play key the device will play the sound of complete sentence according to grammar rules. This can help users with communication disorders to communicate with other people so that they can understand the request, need or opinion of the user. This device can be an alternative tool for the usual communication method of the user or can be an auxiliary tool in the process of rehabilitation. This device can be used for a wide range of people with communication disorders and can also be used for children with developmental communication disorders. This device is designed to be portable and its content can be customized according to the request of the person and the required words and content can be added to it, or it can be personalized according to the person's abilities so that the user can have the most optimal use of the tool in daily communication. This device can improve the quality of life of these people and also be effective in preventing the occurrence of disorders such as depression that occur due to lack of proper communication, because it can motivate these people to communicate and also continue the treatment process.
